Filming: Test Title Sequence

In todays lesson, we experimented and filmed our title sequence. This will prepare us for when we make our actual title sequence and we will use the ideas that we have used in the testing, in the real thing.

When filming this, it was very time consuming. We had to push each shoe very slightly and shot it, and carry on doing this to each shoe, so when we looked back on the film, it looked like the shoes were walking by themselves. We filmed this a number of times, in different places to see what would suit what mise en scene we were trying to create, this helped us understand and develop what we were aimed to achieve

For the final attempt we did in this lesson, we put the shoes on the table and made the shoes walk in and out of shot. Shooting this has really helped us to understand and develop our skills in creating a good stop-motion video, something we are considering a lot for our title sequence.
