Filming: Test Interview

We did a test interview to familiarise ourselves with the equipment that we will be using. This was very beneficial because we could also practise with the framing of the interviewee and know what were doing for the other interviews.

As we can see, the way we had postitioned Don in the framing, we did this well. But the downside of this interview was the interviewer wasnt at eye level with the interviewee, which caused Don to look up. We can learn from this and in our actual interviews we could amend this and make sure that we are eye level with the interviewee. Another thing that let us down in this interview was the lighting, although we did shut the blinds and the curtains, this did not help because we could see on the wall behind the change in the light from outside, we would have to change this and make sure that this did not happen when we were properly filming.
